Tucked down a quiet lane in the heart of Seminyak, Villa Mahkota is a well-presented and recently renovated single-storey villa laid out in the style of a traditional Balinese compound, with separate pavilions, lush tropical gardens and a lovely sense of privacy that feels a world away from the buzz of the street outside. The indoor living and dining areas are spacious and well equipped, flowing out to a traditional wantilan outdoor dining pavilion that seats ten, a poolside bar and a relaxed swing sofa that is as good a spot as any to spend a slow Bali afternoon. Beyond that, a fully equipped gym, a hot water Jacuzzi and a secluded yoga deck give the villa a genuine sense of resort-style amenity for a property of its size.
