Yes, generally there is a minimum night stay for our villas.  Typically it is, two nights in low to mid season,  five nights in high season, and five-seven nights in peak season. We will advise you of the details for each villa at the time of enquiry.

Typically high season covers the school holidays (Easter, July/August/September) and Chinese New Year, and peak season refers to the Christmas/New Years period. Low and mid seasons are the remaining times of the year. Ultimately all Villas determine their own seasonal pricing and we will update you at the time of booking.

Ultimate Bali Escapes offers a Best Price Guarantee. At the time of booking we will ensure all available discounts are researched and applied. The most common discounts are for long stay, early bird and last minute bookings, however all villas run promotions from time to time which we will update you on and ensure you get the best price possible. Payments can be made by transfer in either AUD or USD to our Australian Bank account. We also offer credit card payment with Visa or Mastercard; payment by credit card will incur an extra 2% fee.

Normally our villas’ check-in time is 12pm and check-out time is 2pm; the check-in and check-out times are set by each villa. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available for you, depending on the villa’s previous and subsequent bookings. Let us know as soon as you know your travel timings and we will do our best to find a solution for you. Please note that in some cases late check-out will incur an additional fee.

Yes, all visitors required a visa to enter and holiday in Bali. The good news is a Visa on Arrival (VOA) currently costs 500,000 IDR and can be paid at the immigration counter in arrivals after landing, or online in advance, and is valid for 30 days! You must have an outbound plane ticket and a passport with at least six months’ validity remaining in order to be eligible. It is also best to check your nationality on the official Bali immigration website to ensure your passport and nationality is eligible for the VOA.

All Ultimate Bali Escapes villas have strict capacity rules, and when making your booking you will need to confirm the total guest numbers, including children. Some properties allow additional beds to be requested at an additional charge, so let us know if you need us to arrange this for you.

Ultimate Bali Escapes can provide a baby port-a-cot at no extra charge if needed. Please let us know if you would like this at the time of booking.

We know that you want to have the best time possible when on holiday in Bali – we want you to have the best time also! If you wish to hold a party at your villa please notify us at the time of booking. Permission will be required from the villa owner, and a security deposit may be required. Also some parts of Bali have strict rules for when music has to be stopped/moved inside, so consulting us at the booking stage will ensure no unwelcome surprises when you arrive on the Island of the Gods!

We strongly recommend our customers to make sure they have the appropriate insurances in place before travelling to Bali, covering accidents, sickness and theft/loss of property. All decisions to travel to Bali with children are yours to make; however every year millions of families travel to Bali and have a wonderful, safe time! Sensible precautions such as not drinking the tap water, wearing sunscreen, being careful when eating street food, and ensuring children are not left unattended by any swimming pools are all necessary, along with keeping valuables discreetly hidden and using only official transport methods. And: comprehensive travel insurance is a must!

At Ultimate Bali Escapes we help make your family holiday an amazing experience by ensuring you have all the right things to suit your children, including car seats for airport transfers, baby port-a-cots, pool fence installation (charges apply), nanny services (charges apply) and recommendations for the best places to visit with children including restaurants, cafes, beaches and activities.

There are many ATMs and currency changers across Bali, where you can access the local IDR currency. We recommend bringing a physical bank card as not everywhere will accept contactless payments, especially smaller and more local establishments.

Bali is well stocked with most items you are used to at home, from branded medication to imported foodstuffs. You can even find your favourite high-end cosmetics, sunscreens and fashion labels at the international malls!

We recommend bringing baby formula if your infant requires a particular brand, and high-quality nappies such as Huggies if your child requires high-absorbancy nappies, as most local brands are not as absorbent as the brands you use at home.

Yes! We can arrange a private driver to collect you when you arrive. They will wait in arrivals with a sign with your name on, and will drive you directly to your villa. When it is time to go home we can arrange a driver to take you back to the airport too.

Please note that some villa bookings will already include airport transfers.  These details will be outlined to you at the time of booking.

We can also arrange transport for the duration of your stay in Bali, from full-time drivers to drivers booked for specific journeys.
